Setup guide
Shopflix orders are wholesale orders and need different handling from a retail sale: different prices, different shipping and stock that counts. The plugin pulls them in as normal orders and gives you accept or reject from the admin. It is for shops with wholesale credentials from Shopflix.

Get the wholesale credentials
Shopflix gives you a service address, a username and a password for the wholesale API, which are different from the details used for the consumer facing shop. Ask for them in writing and ask whether there is a test environment, because a wrong address produces a connection error that does not explain which part is missing. Keep the password separate from the rest of the shop keys.

Enter the details and test the connection
In the settings enter the service address, the username and the password, and run the connection test if the plugin has one. If you get a confirmation, go ahead and enable it, otherwise fix the details first, because an active connection with wrong details fills the log and hides the real error. Make sure the address is written with the secure protocol and with the trailing slash if the service requires it.

Leave auto accept off at first
Pull the orders in without auto accept, so you can see with your own eyes what they contain before you commit. Check the products, the amounts and the shipping details on two or three orders, because wholesale prices can differ from the shop prices and a wrong match costs you on every order. Turn on auto accept only when you are sure that stock and prices are right.

Clean up the product mappings
Open the list of products that are not mapped and fix the first ones, because an order with an unknown product cannot be fulfilled properly and ends in a call to the customer. Pay attention to products sold in several pack sizes, because the same description can stand for a different number of units and the mistake grows with the quantity. Keep your SKUs and the Shopflix codes in one place, so the check is quick.

Test accept, reject and the shipping label
Place a test order and take it all the way through: accept it, create the shipping label, print it. Then test a rejection and make sure the customer is told with a clear reason, because a rejection with no explanation damages the relationship with the partner. Finally check that stock went down correctly and that the order appears in the wholesale sales report.

Decide who checks the orders each day
Wholesale orders have an acceptance deadline, and if it passes the partner can cancel the order and charge the shop. Decide who opens the list each morning and within how many hours they answer, and set a reminder for public holidays. Keep a record of what happened with every order that was rejected, because you need those details when you talk to the partner.
Common mistakes
- Auto accept from day one. Orders with a wrong price or an unknown product are committed before you see them.
- A retail service address instead of the wholesale one. The connection fails and the message does not say which part is missing.
- Products with several pack sizes mapped to the same item. The quantities are sent wrong.
- Orders that go unanswered past the deadline. The partner cancels them and charges the shop.
